In case you’re wondering, that picture at the top of my blog, it’s my family on some sidewalk in New Haven when my son graduated from law school. That’s his feet on the right. My daughter’s on the left. My wife in the middle. And I have a son-in-law now. His feet weren’t available at the time.
Why “WordFeeder”? Because I write my best stuff sitting at my kitchen table, looking out the window at the bird feeder on my deck. That’s where I got the idea for the name. I like to think of this blog as a place where people come and go, pick up some of my words, and now and then leave a few of their own.
What you’ll see here is short pieces about different things that come to mind. Lately, because there’s an election coming up, they’ve been a lot about politics, but that won’t always be the case. Mainly, I just like to write. Feel free to take a break from whatever you’ve had going on in your head all day, and let me know what you think.
Oh, one technical note we need to get out of the way… All written materials, photographs and art originated by WordFeeder are copyrighted by the author of the WordFeeder blog as of the date they were posted, or earlier. Thanks, Shirley. Nice of you to stop by.
What was it that interested you the most? I’m thinking about concentrating on my flash fiction. Less stressful, more fun. What do you think?
